I'm Shirley Zohar, HHP, Founder of Milk and Butterflies™ and a PhD candidate in Natural Medicine at Quantum University, Hawaii.
My journey into skincare wasn't a choice, it was a calling, born from years of spiritual discovery and devotion to holistic healing. I believe true beauty happens when science, intuition, and soul align.
As a mother of five, every product I create is crafted with the same love and care I give my own family, infused with intention, mindfulness, and a quiet reminder of who you truly are.

What inspired you to create Milk and Butterflies™?
Milk and Butterflies™ was born from a deep pain in my heart, watching women being conditioned by the modern skincare industry to believe they are never enough. Not smart enough. Not pretty enough. Not skinny enough. Not curvy enough.
I created Milk and Butterflies™ to challenge that narrative.
Skincare should never be about fixing what's "wrong" with you. Yes, our skin loses strength through life's inner and outer stressors, but that doesn't define our worth. You are already more than enough, your beauty is unique, radiant, and yours alone.
What does 100% active ingredients mean to you?
To me, 100% active ingredients is a non-negotiable promise. It means there are no fillers, no water weight, nothing taking up space in the bottle that isn't working for your skin.
Every ingredient has to earn its place. Each one is chosen for what it gives back to you, kept as close to its natural state as possible so it reaches your skin with its potency intact.
