1. General Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: You may request a return for eligible items within 14 days of the delivery date.

  • Condition of Products: To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In their original packaging, including any seals

  • In the same condition that you received them.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt) is required for all returns.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or are not in their original sealed packaging.

  • Products that have been altered in any way.

  • Sale or clearance items (these are final sale).

  • Gift cards.

  • Individual items that were part of a set or bundle (the entire set or bundle must be returned, subject to eligibility).

3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during transit, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us at admin@milkandbutterflies.com within 7 days of delivery.

  • Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence of the damage or incorrect item.

  • We will assess the situation and, if validated, provide instructions for a return, replacement, or refund at our discretion. We may cover the cost of return shipping for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.

4. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: To initiate a return for an eligible item, please email us at admin@milkandbutterflies.com within the 14-day return window. Include your order number and the reason for your return.

  2. Return Authorization: Do not send items back without first contacting us. We will review your request and, if your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions.

  3. Shipping the Return:

  • You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect as per Section 3.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Please ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Milk & Butterflies is not responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment.

5. Refunds

  • Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.

  • Notification: We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • Processing: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days (typically 7-10 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies).

  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, if we choose to accept such a return at our sole discretion).

6. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

  • Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

7. Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same item, please contact us at admin@milkandbutterflies.com and follow the process outlined in Section 3.

  • We do not offer exchanges for other reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect color choice by customer). You may return an eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
